Title: Emergency Breakdown Service
Post by: StinkyPete on May 24, 2014, 12:04:47 PM
Can members please post information about any Emergency Breakdown Service that they subscribe to, and indicate the yearly cost and any other relevant information.   This thread may become a resource for those looking to subscribe to such a service.

I am not a member of the RAA, and have signed up with the OzSTOC Rider Assistance Network.

I'm with RACQ in QLD and covered for whatever I am driving, including the bike or anyone else's car or motor bike. It covers me and not restricted to the vehicles I own. About $180 per year.

I am with the RAA - Premium Cover which includes extended towing, accommodation and car hire etc. Interestingly it costs $174 a year. They also offer a discount for my health insurance and when I read this I contacted the health insurance company and got a discount of over $240 per year - so you could say the RAA paid me to be a member this year. Go figure.
