Title: Honda finally gets it right
Post by: HunterTodd on June 19, 2014, 08:05:02 PM
This looks more like a worthy succesor to the ST1300

OK, I'm going to say that this does look way better than anything else to date.
I can actually see myself buying this.

I certainly looks good, but the seat as show in the concept is still sloping forward.   :well

The VFR1200 didn't sell in great numbers and it's no longer on the Aussie Honda site.

That was a 2009 edition of MCN.  It would appear it didn't happen.  The CTX1300 is what you've got, love itor leave it.

That page is just a vast collection of every photo Google could find on the internet with the tag "Honda ST", and then some...
Yes, the number 2014 appeared in one of the pix, and so did this:

Even Diesel's bike and blog are featured.

last night I was at  party and the host had restored a 1996 Honda CB 750. for some reason that bike did it for me too.

If you want an aggressive looking naked sports bike.  But it's not intended to be a weather-protecting, comfort-for-hours-on-end touring bike like the STs.

It looks a bit like an update of the original flat six naked Goldwing.  If Honda tinker with the design for a few years (like they did before), they may just turn it into a decent touring bike.
