Well look what turned up for me today, I have my own farkles to even wear now :crackup
Instant warmth within 10 seconds of turning on the Jett vest, I tried out Saaz's original vest a few weeks ago and found the controller may be a little difficult to access inside the jacket pocket that is under my normal bike jacket. Jett make the new vest in a sports, motorcycle and rashie for under a wet suit, Chris bought me the sports model so I can also wear under fitted clothing, I should now be the warmest mum at soccer on a Saturday morning :nahnah
With this newer version you wear the on/off heat controller on your wrist, access is very easy now and glove friendly, had a play just around the house and cannot wait to hit the cold now :thumbsup

I recently bought one of the original Jett Vests to wear up to Uralla for our Christmas in July. I haven't used it on the bike yet, but I reckon it will be the ducks guts. :thumb

Yep, I've got one of the originals with a spare battery and it's travelled many k's in all sorts of weather. They are a great piece of kit. Perfect for the mid winter 4am departures.
Oh, don't try to wear one when you are getting on a plane. >:()

I've also brought one of the original Jet Vests but haven't used it as yet, also brought an Anti Gravity Micro Start Battery and that arrived a couple of days ago, it came fully charged but haven't tried it as yet. Now I'm waiting on a Migsel Dash Mount to arrive so I can fit my Garmin Zumo 660, it left Belgium a couple of weeks ago so should be arriving any day! What ever did we do pre "Google"?? :phone but not anymore!! :grin

Mine was given to me today :-) ... I got the motorcycle vest though which comes down the back a bit more than the sports vest.

I just used my Jett for the first time on a ride. It really made a difference keeping that core temperature up. After a while it just seems natural to feel warm and not loosing temperature - what a change!

Mine is built in . . . :Blow

I have worn mine around the house a few times and to a Walk in Freezer when picking meat for a party :-)
Toooasty warm ... :-)
Unfortunately my vest is a little large so I am hoping to get a medium one here before Border Run as a mate has offered to by the large one that we ordered.
Cannot wait to try it on the bike....
May have to take a run to York with it on when my heated grips arrive.... :think1 :think1

Hello guys. I considering purchasing a heated vest and have read the thread on this Jett vest. Roughly about how many hours can I expect to get from the batteries say on the low setting. The blurb in the website suggests 4+ hours. Is this pretty reasonable. Can anyone let me know or have any other feedback please. TIA

I have had nearly 6 hours before I noticed it wasn't heating anymore, but I did turn it off and on a few times in that period of time. So 4 hours is about correct I guess ;-*
