Title: RDS radio installed "finally"

Spent the day installing an RDS radio, sd card / usb drive / audio in reader and hooking the whole lot up to my garmin 660
so now ive got music everywhere
long day arms are shredded from trying to re install the dash
so relaxing with van halen and whisky

next job - uhf radio through the senna hub

Basically, it allows music tracks or traffic data to be displayed on the face of your radio.

This is the step between FM radio and full digital Radio.

You mean we have this working in Australia? I had a traffic update via a GPS subscription option but didn't take it up.

I had RDS on an aftermarket CD/radio in our previous car but I could never get anything on it.

Only on some FM stations in capital cities.
