10. Afraid it will invalidate warranty.
9. Leather and studs make it too heavy to raise arm.
8. Refuse to wave to anyone whose bike is already paid for.
7. Afraid to let go of handlebars because they might vibrate off.
6. Rushing wind would blow scabs off the new tattoos.
5. Angry because just took out second mortgage to pay luxury tax on new Harley.
4. Just discovered the fine print in owner’s manual and realized H-D is partially owned by Honda.
3. Can’t tell if other riders are waving or just reaching to cover their ears like everyone else.

10 Reasons Why Honda ST Riders DO Wave Back

1.  STriders appreciate that a friendly wave shows real STyle;
2.  It is STandard practice 4 STriders 2 b friendly;
3.  Striders r STicklers 4 club rules and an ozSTOC rule is 2 b friendly to all riders whenever possible;
4.  STriders r not STupid - good relations with other riders can sometimes be repaid with friendly help;
5.  Additons to STock bikes include farkles such as cruise control that allows the throttle hand to wave;
6.  On a STinking hot day a wave allows a breeze to get up to a sweltering armpit 4 instant relief;
7.  Farkles allow either arm to wave - this is call STereo waving;
8.  STacks of other riders are riding STeeds and this is like a wave to family;
9.  STeeds often carry friendly, happy pillions who can wave for as long as they like;
10. Finally, STriders STrive 4 excellence and if an on-coming rider waves, he/she must b happy and is probably returning from an excellent destination that we have yet to experience. Whoopee!!!

throttle lock, or don't mind decelerating for an on-coming mate.

Well done with that list, Gregory.  Just don't throw up the two handed wave if it looks like a white bike.  By the time you see the red and blue indicators it will be too late.    :law
