The Uralla RTE had us on the road on a crispy New England morning run down to Uralla for a 0800 meet with the riders who had come in the previous night for breakfast.......after giving the sun a chance to do its thing on the ice covered roads we meandered of through the tablelands bound for a much warmer Dorrigo.
Video is taken at a typical -4 morning......the frost you can see is not really an issue, it's the ice you cannot that can catch out the unfamiliar rider :||||
Enjoy

I don't mind the high country riding, it is just all the gear you have to take on and off when moving from 20c weather to sustained 5c and less temperatures. I saw quite a bit more more of the area this time, have to explore a bit more.

That was the first time in 18 months the bike has left the shed without Pockey :-[ took a little getting use to......not the bike handling, more the fact that my wallet felt more secured :whistle

Yep.....white paddocks are part of the course around here at this time of the year, many parts here in winter where the sun doesn't reach on the southern side in shade stays in frost for days at a time..... :eek
-
Frost on the grass is normal around here. Every morning I look out and the ice is on the lawn where the sun has not hit yet. The ice can stay for most of the day in the shade.

Great vid thanks mate, a joy to watch. Looks like there could be a contender pic for riding in the coldest temps! Sounds like a great RTE was had by all - well done!
