Well my friends the time has come for me to go do what I do....a little ADV Riding and a little IBA Riding....and maybe a mixture of both, Dustybutt anyone???
Now all of this is due to commence August 2nd, hence no BR for me this year as the title suggests I will be off the islands, both small and big......I will be in the USA
I have set up many pages for followers and my own purposes but the 2 most able to access will be
http://www.findmespot.com/spotadventures/index.php/view_adventure?tripid=332008 (http://www.findmespot.com/spotadventures/index.php/view_adventure?tripid=332008) my SPOT Adventure page that may get some pics and blogging along the way....
and http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0vGlrINqr7jNFkKbmzUtoYgInjU9dNqDH (http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0vGlrINqr7jNFkKbmzUtoYgInjU9dNqDH) this one which is just my everyday SPOT shared page.
Don't forget to add them to your favourites/bookmarks
The plan is August 2-18 doing ADV riding on a Super Tenere, then I pick up a ST1300 :thumbs and have been invited by some of the IBA top dawgs to partake in their hospitality and ride with them into the IBA International Meeting in Denver, CO from August 19-24. Then a few days with great friends in Chicago to end the trip and fly home on August 27th.
I will see you all at Wilmington in September or somewhere else shortly after
Cheers, Brooke

Be careful around that Super Tenere....they can be addictive! :grin
-
Thanks for the well wishes.
Man Flu??? Was actually a bad case of pneumonia that layed me up for a week and half, but all good now and ready to fly.
S10's addictive??? Never, only did 100,000 on the last one in 16 months before being hit by a bus in Brisbane.......
And I am sure in keeping with this great forum that I will be blindingly obvious at the IBA meet in Denver, riding an ST1300 and wearing this very bright orange OzSTOC t-shirt from this years AGM at Ballarat, so I might just be noticeable :nahnah
See ya all somewhere when I get back ++

Well after having done 14 days of adventure riding on a Yamaha Super Tenere I went down to LA to pick up an ST1300 for the remaining 2 weeks of my USA trip.......only they did not have one. Instead I now have a brand new Honda F6B Goldwing......not really impressed after 2 days and 1300 miles....but so be it.

Not that I intended getting one, but will be interested to hear what you didn't like about the F6B.
We ST owners think they're butt ugly, but that's only the looks... They should be comfortable and have enough power, I would have thought.

I will do an evaluation when I get home next week.......comfortable, not likely unless you are 5'4" Japanese rider with offset legs??? The right footpeg is about an inch to and inch and a quarter further forward than the left peg, feels like riding side saddle all the time...and yes, Butt Ugly
