Earlier today Queensland Police launched two new sticker designs. 5 new ST1300 bikes for the Fatal Five road hazards. The bikes bikes are designed to be highly visible.

Also the standard sticker pattern has been changed and will be reflected across the fleet as the bikes are changed over.

Can't say you didn't see these ones coming. :law :law :law

Not much point trying to get respect with a plain white one, then.
Tipsy will be OK with his checkered patterns.
I suppose it all peels off when they want to sell them.
So where did they get them from???
Imported?
Will be very popular at auction is a couple of years (although they won't want to sell them- they'll be getting rid of the inferior brands first).

Nice one :like

Biggles,
At this stage they are the last 3 ST's they could get their hands on and 2 from the existing fleet. Only 5 at a time will have the Fatal Five colour scheme. It is plastic wrapping and will be removed for sale. It is only for Qld. What the other states do is up to them.
5 or 6 bikes will go to Canberra in September for the Wall to Wall memoial ride. Unsure how many ST's will be amongst them.
No bikes for sale until after G20.

:think1 Maybe I should put white and yellow checkers on my :blu13left :grin
-
Sean. Can you confirm or deny that there may be a couple of black undercover bikes patrolling the great SE ? Wot thuh

I saw them featured on the Channel 7 news tonight. I do like the look of the 13 over the Feejer, but they certainly are visible and should do the publicity for their cause some good.
Thanks for sharing Sean. :wht13

And the ST comes with a rain gauge :like

Nah, it's a coffee cup holder. Wrong shape for a rain gauge.

I just saw them on the news to be used in the G20 to start with, nice to see something different 😄

I am guessing it is for the hand held radar

Dear oh dear, TJ. These are for PR purposes, not revenue raising. How could you suggest such a thing?!?! :-(((

Skip,
There are a couple of unmarked bikes at the moment, but both are not dark in colour. The trick is picking what they are.
The pod on the side of the Honda is a water bottle holder.
You can just make out the holder for the Lidar on the right hand side of the FJR. It is white if you can find it.
Some will on the road this week.

See- I was right. I'll bet it gets used for coffee more than water. :nahnah

No good for coffee, they are slightly bigger than a 2 litre milk container.

They make flavoured milk in 2 litre sizes. I'm sure coffee flavour is available. Should last the whole shift.

It's nice to see that they've started to incorporate a bit of OzSTOC Orange in the colour scheme. I wonder if they might be interested in an OzSTOC "Police" version of the new jacket?????

HarieG,
No cigar. Try again. :law
Now back to the topic.
