A guy on my Canning Stock Route trip had one of these.

Yeah they are brilliant  :like I have one in the "Bush Kettle" brand for many years, mine has the timber handle which is a wee bit singed.....but tait just adds character  :crackup

I can remember as a youngster with my stepfather using something similar back in NZ on the farm and it use to be green.
In Nelson we mad one out of 20 gall steel oil drum, and yes we cleaned before use.
These are a definite remake/upgrade of those originals.

I have the Kelly Kettle and its lives in the camp kitchen.

Great piece of kit and quick to boil.

Also, have the cooking attachments.
