Hello Peoples,
Went out to dinner on Friday after work and returned to find the bike flat on its left side. >:() Either a prank or someone ran into it. I'd rather source locally although Partzilla in the US and David Silver in the UK are reliable but am looking at 2 to 3 weeks and that will mean school holidays without a ride.....that makes for a very cranky Ruben who has been waiting 10 weeks for a good ride.
The boys in blue will try and see if there were any surveillance cameras and perhaps if I'm lucky, pay the individual a visit.
If anyone has a mirror and or the blinker plastic shroud for the 1100, please make contact and lets see what we can arrange.
Thanks in advance
Ruben

Ruben, I'll take the cover off my 1100 for you to use till you get sorted :thumb
Do you need the mirror as well ??
Just hope there's a thing called "karma".

Thanks Dave, John and Johnny.
Dave I might take you up on the offer of the left mirror and left blinker cover if you don't mind, for a max of 3 to 4 weeks I expect.
Johnny, the blinker cover is still in one piece but only just. I am happy to pay you to practice your welding magic and it can become a spare for fellow club members when I get the new one. I'll call you once I'm ready to pass it over.
John, thanks also for the offer, we'll see if Dave can manage it first as he basically lives around the corner.
I places a listing on findapart.com.au and we'll see if that yields anything.
I'm on holidays for 2 weeks from next week so that is when I'll be doing most of this.
Perhaps we can have a mid week meet and ride in my second week of holidays to the Nerriga Pub or maybe Gloucester? if I get the bike sorted out.
Thank you all
Ruben

The second week may be ok, but only if I don't go to the NT RTE. Nerriga is not a bad ride to do.
Thanks Dave, John and Johnny.

OK - now I'm in need of a new mirror and housing. I can get a mirror cut locally - no drama. As to the housing anyone have a spare white one willing to sell or should I order one? And if I do, does it come painted?
Also how does one get the mirror out and back in the plastic housing?
Thanks,
A.

If you order new it will be the same colour as your 1100
The plastic housing is designed to be knocked off on impact so just pull it off and detach the plastic safety strap. Two bolts attach the mirror to the frame.
