Title: I decided Saturday was too nice a day to waste sitting at home
Post by: Kev Murphy on September 21, 2014, 02:17:40 AM
Just a short ride for the day.
Left Portland 8am arrived Warrnambool 9am.... did some shopping, and left at 10 am heading for Hamilton.
Arrived Hamilton 11.10am in time for some shopping and some lunch. Left at 12.15 heading for Coleraine.
Dropped in on some friends there for a coffee at 12.45. Chatted for an hour, then headed for Casterton.
Arrived 2.05. Shot the breeze with friends there, and had another coffee before heading off again at 3.15pm.
Arrived at Penola 4.15, turned south heading to Mt Gambier and pulled into a servo for fuel at 4.40Pm
Had a break for an iced coffee and a donut, and left heading back to Portland at 5.05, arrived home at 6.15 pm in time to feed my cats.

Nice casual day, fine weather, an open road, and 511 Km travelled with a couple of shopping breaks and catching up with friends included.

Anyone down this way is always welcome for a coffee.
...and what's wrong with posting at 2.17 am? ....   You will find me around at any and all hours, as I only sleep for short periods.

Another nice warm sunny day... Bike is topped up, and a friend in downtown 'Hollyrock' (Heywood), has some problems with his computer. Guess I better just wander up to see what the problem is....
Only 60 Km round trip, barely more than a commute....

Yes, nice days for riding, glad you had fun, not like me at the moment with a viral infection. Its not to bad,  just annoying.

Sent from  Samsung 10.1 tab whilst still in bed

Well, that was an extended visit... took two hours to remove all the malware from friends computer, and his next door neighbour called in with the same computer problem.
Aren't they lucky that I don't charge?

Didn't get home until 4.45

Thats the same with me, when asked how much they owe for the service (after 4 hrs of brain aching work) " You cant afford it" is my usual answer so its free....
