Due to our bike going down on the left hand side (on highway) on Friday night we may be looking to replace Wing Cover. My thoughts are to replace with a set of Highway blades of some sort. Few questions -
I am únder 6' and from what I have read they do not appear to be an option for us shorter people - are there any guidelines to go by.
Can they be opened from closed position whilst riding.
Any other opinions appreciated.

Your correct in that in my experience the more vertically challenged you are the less time you spend out on the blades.......but even still its nice to have the option to walk around on the bike to prevent cramping and sore muscles etc.....
I'm 6ft and on the open road spend more than 50% off my day using them in some combination with the standard position pegs. :like

You'll generally only pick them up when someone is stripping the farkles in preparation for selling their beloved. ST, I mean.
They're not all that expensive from the manufacturer, MCL, in the States, and they're precision made.
