I would like to see a close up of the foot pegs on this bike. Also be interesting to know how it goes for heat.

I've sent Ian a message, indicating OzSTOC members' interest in his footpeg modification, and asked if he can put up some close up photos of the mod. :popcorn

I've grabbed and blown up the photos, but they're pixelated heavily when blown up. Ian's removed the tip-over bars, fitted heat shields on the rear exhaust headers, and used the tip-over bar mounts, to mount the footpegs in the new position. He's then fabricated a series of linkages for the controls. It will be helpful if he posts some additional close-up photos, showing us his work. He's an ideas man.... :thumb

StinkyPete, can you use the word "enlarged" instead of "blown up" as you may make some people nervous :rofl :rofl
It would be interesting to know if it was "engineered certified".

Why would they need to be engineered certified?
Having a closer look sounds like a good reason to go for a ride, I may have to contact Ian and see what I can organise.

A very reasonable price for a bike that has obviously been lovingly cared for. The 78K ODO is no problem at all on these bikes. Mine has 93K and is still a young filly. It's just too easy to rack up the kays on these bikes.
What I can't work out is where the rest of the pillion seat has gone. I see the back rest, but that doesn't account for the whole seat area.

Ex police bike looks like it never had a pillion seat.
