Hi All
I have been a fan of both the ST1100 & 1300 for a long time.
My brother owned both models and I used to ride them at every opportunity. I remember the first time I jumped on the 1100 being a little overwhelmed at the size and weight, and how amazed I was when I found that as soon as you moved off the weight disappeared and how the bike felt incredibly nimble. He traded the 1100 on a 1300 and I was even more impressed!!!
I have been following the Ozstoc for a while on Facebook and have often browsed the forum as a visitor.
A couple of months ago I found a 2010 ST1300 on Gumtree and basically purchased the bike online. It had 2 previous owners and presented very well with pretty low Km's at 29,000.
It has had a couple of minor scrapes, fallen over in the garage etc, but otherwise presents and rides really nicely.
Until today that is... when after a ride the rear brake bound up of its own accord and I couldn't even push the bike into the garage!!!
Thus the reason for finally joining the forum, I will post the problem in the appropriate section and look forward to hearing others thoughts on the matter and hopefully find a solution.
Anyway, looking forward to learning a lot about the bike and being a member of the Ozstoc community.
Cheers
RossN

Hi RossN and welcome to the forum from SA. :hatwave I'm sure that there will be plenty of ideas forthcoming to get you going again. A 2010 model with 29,000k on the clock is still brand new.

Welcome in Ross.
To move your bike, try cracking the brake bleed valve. It sounds like an air bubble, and heat has caused the pads to lock on. You probably need to bleed the system, and it can be a bit difficult to do correctly.
