Im Brisbane Bayside based and Just got myself a 97 ST100..An owner down the road from where I used to live in Cleveland Brissy told me about his bike ( silver ABS model) And I am getting tired on long rides on my Vulcan 1500.BUT The tank paintwork is badly faded., so I need help please.1. Where do I find the colour number of the bike ( its that dark cherry red)
and 2. Anyone recommend where I can get the tank and panniers painted?
thanks in advance guys

The paint code is on the frame under the seat.
Most auto repair shops will do paint jobs, but shop around. Some want a fortune for small jobs.
Welcome from another Brisvegan. Aspley, in fact.

Hi from SA
If it's an 1100V (1997) then R-114C-U Candy Wineberry Red but as has been said before check the paint code and model year under the seat.
We didn't get that red on the 1100A until 1998 or the 1100AW

This webpage doesn't like your "blockquotes" (whatever they are) Gary. I noticed it yesterday also.
Here's the page:

You could try calling Brent (Budha) he's been around for years specialising in m/c painting inc. work for the team motto dealerships and in particular oem honda.

Thanks Biggles, I don't know why that after I've selected to quote, if I "toggle view" (bottom right icon in the formatting group) out of the WYSIWYG editor to codes, it puts <blockquotes> in instead of the [q uote] code
Normally I remember to change them. Sorry I missed this one. Fixed now.
