Title: Has anyone test ridden or HAVE a CTX1300?

Best mate is seriously considering a CTX1300 as a day touring bike for himself and petite sweet wife pillion.
 
He has ridden my ST1300 many times and does not want to buy one for various reasons.

He does not want to purchase or test with Peter Stevens and just needs a CTX1300 to test ride prior to purchase.
He has approached another Honda dealer A1 at Ringwood to book a test ride, but they don't have any in stock...
He has had MANY bikes and is VERY experienced rider.
would anyone be able to share their experience with the CTX1300 pros and cons etc...
any one know a generous and kind hearted soul in Melbourne that would allow him a short ride prior to purchase?
