Title: Telescopic Pole
Post by: Streak on January 08, 2015, 07:02:53 AM
Hello All, I am chasing a telescopic pole that goes from 600mm/700mm to 1200mm/1400mm

does anyone have a suggestion or an idea where I could get one from?

i am hoping to find something more like the alloy tent pole style, it is for the camping kit i take on my bike

Check out pool supply shops for extendable pool skimmer/scoop handles. Not sure about the sizing, but I have a couple of big solid ones, and you can buy the tent pole ends just about anywhere. Just cut them to size. although the ones I have are full size. Cheap and very solid!

I would think the best option might be a cleaning supplies.  Window cleaners need telescoping poles that are light portable easy to telescop yet get the height they require.  Ettore is a brand you might consider.  But a number of other brands are very good.

this is what I was up to, excuse the crappy led light, I was very disappointed with that.....

this is version 1, just looking to have light on the table when cooking food, or simply just having a can or two

If you're going to use this table (or any table) on a camping trip then it's best to have your light away from the table otherwise you will have unwanted guests.
