Hi Max according to the Website about 2.5 to 3 bottles, quite a few people only do the rear tyre about 1.5 to 2 bottles.
Ride On also balances your wheels as well.

Cool Mitch, interested in doing both tyres, 70% certain I will be at the meet, but will be in a better position to confirm this on the Monday of that week due to work commitments. Put me down for 3 if I make it, if not and somebody else wants them then let them go. Sorry I can't be more definite at the moment but my plans at this stage are all over the place. :||||

If there is enough interest here in the West I will see if I can get some more at the same price. :whistle

Hey Mitch, I'm interested to know why many riders would only do their rear tyre, "if you know that is", I would have thought it more important to do the front tyre, if you were only intending to do one only, that is!        Just wondering!! :grin

Hi Couch, you are more likely to get a rear flat than a front, how many front flats have you had compared to rears?
I think the reason is that the front runs over an object lying flat (nail, screw etc) and sometimes stands it up to penetrate the rear.  :-[
I do both tyres as the front only uses about 1 Bottle and I look at it as cheap insurance, plus I hate fixing flats beside the road  :well

Well I've never had a flat on the bike (touch wood), but when I look at the flats I've had in cars over the years, I have to say, "you're right mate", every flat I've ever had has been on the rear...........interesting!!

Hmmmm :think1 your reasoning may very well have some merit!!

Mitch, I just put my Ride On in at Yorkies yesterday and the effect of perfectly balanced tyres made the ride unbelievably smooth. I would highly recommend. And my carton was more expensive than yours :-( ..... Maybe add to the old WA Shipping and Buying thread as well.

Well I would not have believed the advantages of using ride on. :eek
I had to do a quick trip down south and was going to use the 3 bottles I had from Pezzz's delivery way back in time. I was hanging out until I put new hoops on then I got slack. Some say slacker than usual.  :fp It was a good time to test before the border so I bit the bullet. Not only is it supposed to cure the roadside flat but it balanced the tyres perfectly eliminating all wheel vibration. The thing that amazed me and I still don't believe myself but it appears to dampen road noise.  :runyay  So a nice quiet run of around 1000kms was had.

Now where do I get more. Maybe a westies delivery coming up  :think1

Cheers all
