Title: Where to get it
Post by: DaleMcLean on February 01, 2015, 06:47:05 AM

People, I’d like to enlist help from you all.

You may know my name, you’ve probably seen the old Ducati on rides once or twice (too little time to ride) and maybe you know about what I do.
I’ve been running a business supplying and fitting intercoms and electronics to bikes for over 15 years.
Times are tough and business is VERY quiet, to the point of probably closing down.
I’d appreciate it if you can spread the word to support a LOCAL business, that provides GREAT products at a reasonable price, with EXCEPTIONAL product knowledge and personal back up service.
We do :-
Sena Bluetooth systems
StarCom1 wired Intercom system
Electronic Cruise Control (Australian designed and made)
GPS trackers for bikes
And can wire in and even design specialty things from your ideas (currently working on helmet mounted remote brake and blinker lights).
All I ask is that you consider what we do and spread the word to anyone who might be looking for these products.

Hey Dale,

I have already advised a number of riders about your services. I will keep the word out about the good work you do. My ST1100 had a starcom system that the previous owner said was installed by you and it was a faultless unit.

Good luck!

Cheers,

Can do Dale.    I'm heading off of a long tour to FNQ in May with some mates.  One is looking to fit a com set to his bike before we go, so I'll pass on your details. :thumb

It would be terrible to lose you from the industry.  It's just a fact that you do the job right the first time, so we don't need to come back to get it fixed.
If the business won't support you any more, and you had to get other work, I would fervently hope you still did some "backyard" moonlighting, because I'm gonna need your skills when I get my next bike.
I "liked" you on Facebook.
They didn't have "Depended".

Having heard great things about your work is there anywhere for the lucky people who live outside NSW to have installation of your products ?
I am not able to travel due to work commitments but am haing trouble locating a reputable installer and supplier of the right equipment.

Thanks Bloodman.
The people who do this stuff are few and far between. By far the majority of it can be self installed, I include help pages  :grin, as well as over the phone help too (2 calls yesterday while at the pub for the son in laws birthday  :think1)

give us a yell if you want to talk about it all  ++

:'( Thats a different story
The "wing" stuff is tied into the bike pretty well, plus the UHF doesnt really lend itself to "external" control.

It could be done but the price would be well out of range  :'(
