Title: WGS National Rally Toowoomba
Post by: johnnyYTED on February 11, 2015, 01:23:33 PM: G'day every one, I asked the QLD rally team if it is possible to hold an WGS SHAVE event over the Rally period, and the beST time would be after the meet and greet Friday night.
WendyL and I, with help from STreak's crazy hairdresser mate and Gavo maybe, are going to Shave /colour hair, feel free to offer to assiST on the night. ;-*

with-in OzSTOC members we have 3 including myself who have personal association with the work and support of the Leukaemia Foundation.
I was diagnosed 4 1/2 yrs ago with Multiple Myeloma, and currently STable after a period of illness, with regular 6 wk blood monitoring and meds.
8 1/2 yrs ago loST my beST friend co conspirator confident companion Kim R.I.P to Leukaemia and the assiSTance given in accommodation while treatment at Royal Brisbane's oncology made that 6 months easier on us.After Kim passed they kept up with calls throughout my grief continuing emotional support . :thumbsup that's my STory.
2 other OzSTOCer's have also signed up to SHAVE to support family who are dealing with Multiple Myeloma, each with their own story to tell.
I have regiSTered a team if any OzSTOCer's would like to join on in and have fun and be Brave,and make a combined total donation.

it is not necessary to join the 'team' if you want to be involved, you may chose any of the links above to sponsor individuals or regiSTer yourself .

Whew!! And I thought seeing Johnny shaved was going to be distressing.

G'day OzSTOCer's I am asking for members to help out with the Shave event happening on the Friday night. If there are any Hairdressers in our ranks I ask you to give us, WendyL and I, a hand with clipper cuts and colouring(non permanent), also if there is someone used to public speaking to help round up people to be Brave and Shave.
any volunteers will be greatly appreciated :-++ :clap :clap in helping make this a successful event :thumb

Elly is one of Teela's and my good mates, and did Teelas hair at our wedding, she is dead set crazy, and is looking forward to shaving a few heads!

Elly and her husband like their bikes as well and Blair is going to come as well for the laugh and a feed.
