My 7 year old changing the rear break pads.

What a great way to bring up a kid! Getting his hands dirty on a motorbike.
Can he do front ones too? I don't mind doing my own rears, but he can come over and do my fronts this weekend if he's not booked out already. :thumbs

When my Son was three, I caught him climbing up the front of the Falcon into the engine bay with a large screw driver in hand. All he had to say was "Fix Daddy fix".....
If a seven year old can change brake pads on the ST, then anyone can.....

My father had a Whippet (Brock would remember them).
My contribution (at around 2 or 3 yo) to its maintenance was to stick the tine of a file in its radiator fins.
I seem to recall my effort was excess to requirements at the time...

I had to look it up. May have seen one as a Kid in Puckapunyal, but not sure.
The only whippet I recal has 4 legs, and it probably like being filed either

There's one in the Panorama Museum at Roadvale near Boonah.
Any riders in the area, I can recommend it for its huge collection of "everything" including quite a lot of old m/cs.
