I assume it is the 750GT we are talking about. I liked the 750S in yellow, as no desmo gear like the SS.

My brother in law sold his 1974 750GT recently for about $18,000. Was a challenge to ride with the foot brake under your left foot and the gear change on the right with 1st gear being 1 UP and then down for the rest.  :eek  Maximum concentration required. That old V twin with a set of Conti's takes a bit of beating with regard to an exhaust note.

For me the right foot shift was the norm. Thing steered like a truck. Though I loved the high speed handling. Ate the jap 4's ofthe ttime.

My best friend bought one as soon as they hit the shore, cheap as chips compared to the Jap bikes, although from memory it was more off the road than on due to electrical issues.

Rode an 860 with "swapped over" pedals OMG the 1st corner was fun  :crackup up a gear instead of braking   :eek  :eek.

Yes the sound of a Bevel with Conti's is unsurpassed, with the bonus that I've had it in my ears for nearly 28 years now  :runyay.

I will not be one of those "if only I'd kept it" guys  :thumb

78 Darmah new = $2800, bought 2nd hand in 87 = $3800, currntly going for $15k plus, but my daughter gets ONE key when I can no longer climb aboard, the oother key gets burned with me
