While out and about today, I found this gem. There are two ways of pronouncing this street name, "Red" and "Reed" and both are correct. I choose to believe that the correct pronunciation is "Red".
The challenge is there for anyone else to find their bike colour and model in a street name. :grin

How about this one Pete?

Givus the Lat/Long and we'll let you have it, Dodgy (oops, I mean, Gregory)!
And Pete- the Surname that Read St is named after is never pronounced "red".
That would be Reid or Reed.
Talk about having nothing to do in retirement... :fp

Is not the past tense of reading a book, pronounced "Red" and the spelling is the same ie "read"?
If I'm wrong, then I am happy to wallow in my ignorance and will continue believe that I have found "Red ST" street. :crazy
Now, what to do tomorrow......... :popcorn
