Did you know the record is currently held by Billy Baxter, of the UK at 265.33 km/h?
Now read about the next attempt on the record... by a blind bloke!

:wht11 py
I dont know about speed but after working night shift feeding the drunks and I am a hero idiots
and Nine out of ten caused by the girlfriend flirting with some unsuspecting mug outside night clubs.
After parking and cleaning said vans I would proceed to take the exact same route home.
and at sometime along said route go into a sleep mode of some sort and awaken going thru a set of green lights.
now to have gotten there from the last spot I remember I would have had to driven thru quite
a few intersections and traffic lights....
needless to say after that happened 3 times I quit the job.

I had a mate who attempted to ride home from the pub while blind one night.... didn't even manage turning from the carpark to the exit road.... :grin
.. and this at extreme SLOW speed.

On a similar note I saw a piece about a blind push bike rider on one of Richard Hammonds shows using a system based on bat sonar.
The clip I found is a bit long at 13 minutes with the push bike part starting at about the 10 minute mark

Did you notice the guys eyes???
Having been sighted, his eyes know where to point when hearing the sounds, or in this case feeling the vibrations. Amazing how the mind works.
