I have just completed replacing my timing belt,fuel filter,spark plugs, air filter, speedo cable(thanks to service centre),oils and fluids and clutch slave cylinder. I read and watch what is occurring on the forum learning more each time I log on. So thanks for all the shared experiences and mechanical knowledge that is free to use when you decide to go it alone. Great confidence boost
I have had my ST since new 95 and have only had it serviced by Honda service centre. I was blown away at the amount of cross threaded bolts and screws I found during my cost saving overhaul.

Good to hear  :thumb  It would be interesting to know how many have owned their early ST1100s from new (1300s are more to have been). Apart from yours, I know that Greencan has owned one of his from new.
