Ok, I'm brand new here and just purchased a burgundy red ST1300A 2004 model.
It's coming up from Brissy and I anticipate its arrival after Easter here in Rocky.
Needless to say how excited I am.....
Just in case you're wondering: I got my nickname "wheelbarrow" coz nobody can pronounce my surname...
Cheers, George

Yesterday arvo my long awaited STeed arrived from Brissy. - 2004 red ST1300A - with 36k on the clock.
It's virtually in "as new" condition and a credit to the previous owner.
It has some nice add on's such as a radiator protector, Xenon lights, LED running lights, special seat, intercom, etc. Awesome machine!
I've been used to smaller bikes than this, therefore it will be a challenge for me. Steady as she goes! But I found out already on my first trip how nicely balanced she is, even at low speed.

hi wheelbarrow, looks like a sweet ride. Farkled and ready to go, plus red is best. Richo

G'day George and welcome from the 'Gong, NSW. GR8 buying there assuming u got it at a reasonable price, tho any amount of dosh is fair for a good STeed.
Also welcome to the Best Bred is Red elite of OZSTocracy. :hatwave
BTW: Haven't seen those elbow rests on your topbox on any other STeed b4 and the kick guards on your panniers are a good option.

Hey George,
Great to have you aboard. You have come to the right place for good, practical advice for your ST.
Just a thought... :think1 ... We are happy to do bed, shed & fed for members passing this way... & Mackay has some pretty good day-ride options...
All the best. John, Kate & Miss Scarlett :rd13
