Have Easter off, but aChris has come back from Toowoomba with a cold, and there are too many crazy cage drivers out there. Especially the one yesterday who was doing 20 kph down the street, turned right and ran over the centre island all the time driving with one hand and drink in the other. So when I tooted him he stopped the car in the middle of the road and got out. So I drove around him. No point in giving them any chance to do something stupid. At least the weather is good

I am hard at it. Saying home for once, but doing a bit of a garage/workshop reorganisation, National Corvette show done, may do Canberra rail museum on Monday, staying off the roads as much as I can. Supercheap 20% off sale today helps.
Oh yes, I did wash and polish the bike, had a bit of a fit.... o:)

I was hard at it....sort of....worked on bike and put the driving lights on. Heather cleaned the plastic ware before I put all back on the bike.

Did an oil, filter and spark plug change yesterday and today got in a 400k ride with some mates. Cairns to Daintree village for smoko, up the Rex Range and through to Tolga Pub for lunch, then through Atherton up the Herberton Range, across to Longlands Gap and back down towards Atherton then down the Gillies. Was a great ride and I managed to wipe most of the chicken strips off the front and all off the back tyre. I had my MCL touring pegs open on the Rex and managed to drag one around a corner and grind a little off the edge of it. The weather was awesome and the roads nice and dry so I may have pushed Golden Brown a little through the twisites .....great fun :thumbs . The young fella was right behind me on his V Strom having a ball as well.
A great day was had by all.. :thumb

I was over at Lionel's place, pork roast with all the trimmings, sparkling, red wine, picked up and taken home. I would recommend this restaurant ++
