Title: RTE at Cafe Boombana, MT Nebo Queensland

Another successful was has by all

I finished work at 2.45 Saturday morning went home and set my alarm for 6.45 to get up for a ride to Mt Nebo
Quickly got dressed and had a cup off coffee to wake up and departed about 7.30 to meet up with DavidP and his Wife Lane at the Helidon Spa
Realising I needed fuel I ducked in on the way and filled up
Having met David at the National Rally in Toowoomba only a few weeks earlier, I met his wife Lane and had a brief chat about bikes
and Lane telling me it is quite a few years since she has been on a bike, I thought  she was a brave girl going over Mt Glorious on your first ride for a while

We headed up the highway and turned off to go through Lowood then onto Fernvale, We tuned off up further towards the Mt Glorious Rd
I stopped to see how she was travelling  :thumb All good she said

I have only ridden this road once before and had driven it once, lots of great 20 & 30 Kph corners we got up to Mt Glorious and spotted Tipsy who had overshot
the Café by a few Km. As I had my GPS set up he followed us arriving right on time at 10.00

We had a great reception from those that had arrived, We parked our bikes on the concrete section right in front of the Café, thanks Shiney for organising that
We greeted everyone that had arrived before us and I introduced DavidP and Lane.

I went and ordered coffee and eggs on toast and chatted with all while more were turning up, the highlight was Tipsy and his new dog Tirvy who came on
his first RTE and many to come

Great breakfast and chat with all that made the ride (Sorry Streak no photo of my breakfast)

David Lane and I headed off towards Brisbane with Gary and Shiney following, Heading towards Towong then on the western freeway back towards Ipswich
We then went on towards Blacksoil where we stopped for a cold drink, Lane was pleased to have a rest
We said our goodbyes and headed for Toowoomba
