Well after the latest ride, and having to be careful about the tent not scratching the top of the rear pod (solo seat ), I decided to see if there was a better way.
After a bit of scrounging in the shed, found some likely bits and cobbled this beasty up to keep the paintwork nice, hopefully.
I can access the pod lid with the rack in place, and the rack is removable fairly simply in about 5 mins if necessary.

Nice solution. When loaded, it can serve as a back rest as well.

I really like how you have a space in the center of the rack to access the storage in the pod. Great idea :thumbsup
