I have gotten hammered a few times in the long distant past..
... attended a 'pig on the spit' BBQ on a Saturday afternoon late sixties, woke up in the pool at 10 am Sunday, ... floating in a car tube, with a pork leg in one hand, and an empty Bourbon bottle in the other... other attendees had been laying bets all night as to which would occur first..
A) I would drop the pork
B) I would drop the Bourbon
C) I would fall out of the tube
