Title: Motorcycle transportation
Post by: simo on April 19, 2015, 01:01:37 PM
Has anyone had experience with Fergusen Motorbike Transport? I was looking to use them to transport my bike. If there is any recommendations from members, I would be interested in hearing.

So not much with Ferguson transport, but I've just received my bike (from Brissy to Rocky) by Road Hog Transport. (www.roadhogtransport.com.au (http://www.roadhogtransport.com.au) or give Porky a call: 0411 355 724) I was impressed with their service - professional and they kept you in the loop about progress and they have been very nice and easy to deal with. Their quote was good value for money.
And of course and most importantly: They use a truck specialising in secure bike transport.

Thanks for the advice on Road Hog. I will have a look at the website. I think it is important that they are tied at the axles rather than the bars, particularly if it has Helibars,

John, I can confirm that the bikes are tight up at the axles. I went into the truck when the driver untight the bike. It makes a lot of sense what you're saying and Road Hog know what they are doing.
