Title: ST1100 sidestand switch needed

 :well STranger has a problem his side STand switch is broken  :fp
So I am in need of one,
 :think1  has anyone got a spare ST1100 side STand switch they are willing to part with. :grin
PM me if you can help and I'll send $$ for it and postage.. or  :phone me.   :beer

Can you (or someone) please send a pic of exactly what the side stand switch looks like, I will go out and look at the imperial speeder to see if I can locate it and if it is in good nick.

Shaun here is a pic WITH the side STand but its only the switch I'm after.

the switch has 1 bolt that holds it in place.  :like

It sits on top of the sidestand. remove the nut/bolt thats there and the switch comes off.

Brock: the side stand has been removed and sold, and the left hand side stripped, with cabling all strung over the top of the frame. I had no reference so that is why I asked for confirmation.

Jonny: yep, I still have the switch.

I only knew, as I had to replace mine. I think I made a by pass until the replacement arrived. You have to be vary careful if you do that, as its possible to ride off with the sidestand down.

I checked the carcass late this evening, but the switch is broken... looks like Shaun is the man to talk to.

johnny: No problem. I have the switch off the bike. Looks in good order and it was working fine prior to the Horizontalty. PM imminent.

I picked up a sideSTand switch today ,, ++ Thamks Shaun.
will fit it tomorrow and go for a ride to charge battery fully..  :runyay
