I'm going to look at a st1100 with no plastic runs well but allready have 3 1100s between me and dad ?????? What do I do still have more room for more
-
If you can afford it and are easily able to sore it, and the price is right, go for it.
Advertise on here that you are willing to sell parts which will recoup some of your cost as well as being a big help to others.
It has worked well for some people in here just recently.
Better you have it than a wrecker when it comes to ease of access and price.

The price is good but we allready baught a st this month tding said I will by every st in Australia if I had a chance
-
apart from the final drive unit the only other parts most people will want is plastic, I know I have all the bits taking up space.
my suggestion is to save your $ for more important farkles.
-
Baught it now own 3 and a 1/2 st 1100

You do know it isn't a game of "who has the most STs, wins" :grin
-
So ...... what model, do you want to sell any bits, are the front forks any good?
-
Good on ya Onesie.
It's now time to set up a online parts business on Ebay then sign the young nephew to an apprenticeship.
Keep buying, keep the good stuff for yourself then flog the overflow off to the punters :grin

The regulator rectifier I mentioned in Urunga was this one http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?REFPAGE=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2eelectrexworld%2eco%2euk%2facatalog%2fOnline_Catalogue_Regulator_Rectifier_206%2ehtml&WD=st1100&PN=RR23%2ehtml%23aRR23#aRR23 (http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?REFPAGE=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2eelectrexworld%2eco%2euk%2facatalog%2fOnline_Catalogue_Regulator_Rectifier_206%2ehtml&WD=st1100&PN=RR23%2ehtml%23aRR23#aRR23)
It looks more like the heavier duty police one judging by the picture
