Title: Sydney to Cobram, VIC advice

I'm travelling from Sydney to sunny Cobram, VIC next Saturday.  6.5 hours there for a 30 minute job (love it!!) but a good excuse to take the bike rather than fly/drive.  I'll be arriving there for around 7:00pm and leaving around 8:00pm heading back in the direction of Sydney.

Can anyone recommend somewhere cheap to stay on the way back, possibly 1/4 or 1/2 way back to Sydney?  I'll be riding the quickest route back (if there is such a thing).

Stayed in van park on north east side of hume dam near Bowna. Very nice in the morning on the edge of the lake. A little way off the road. Will get name. Great aussie caravan park.
 Might work for you
