Title: St1100 water pump costs
Post by: ruSTyEB on May 25, 2015, 03:41:43 PM
Hi guys

Just wondering if anyone has priced a brand new water pump for st 1100 1994

Part number 19200-MY3-000 or 19200-MY3-010

I'm pricing up second hand vs new and wanted some second opinions from those who have research them

Thanks in advance.

I have been checking these out as well. The price for the pump is cheaper in the states, but then you have to add shipping.

Bluecity motorcycles in Adelaide have them for A$409.95 and they offer free shipping. On top of that you can order online. They are pretty good and ship as soon as they have them in stock.

I contemplated a second hand one, but it would probably be only a short term fix, if you can find one. Don't let it go too far or you can damage the timing belt, as I found out.

Good Luck
Cheers

http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/honda/HP-19200-MY3-000.html (http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/honda/HP-19200-MY3-000.html)  $289.83 plus $55 shipping equals $US344.83 or about $AUD440 at todays rates. US is cheaper than the UK so I won't go there.

Blue City Motorcycles are in Mount Gambier - blue lake in volcano crater hence Blue City looks the cheapest and your local Honda dealer would be close to that price as well.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.  :like

I too would prefer new for that piece of mind, and you've reassured me the quotes I been given are on the money.

My cheapest 2nd hand quote was $200 + $25 postage, and a guarantee to replace if it to leaked.

My cheapest brand new quote was just under $400 pick up (local) and is what I'll be getting by the looks.
