Hey there Everyone,
Thanks for letting me join your forum and enjoy the fun times you all have.
You'll have to forgive me, but I don't ride an ST of any denomination however to mildly redeem myself, I do ride a Blackbird (a beautiful unique White Blackbird).
It's been ages since I've actually posted an intro so bear with me.
I've been riding for just over 8 years now and have had Angel (the Blackbird) for 6 of those. Together we have traveled roughly half way round Oz, from Sydney - Mt Isa - Tennant Creek - Darwin - Alice Springs - Port Augusta - Robe - Lavers Hill - Eden - Sydney and quite a few places in the middle of all those. I enjoy the long hauls and am also a FarRider (how I met many of your members).
In the stable I also have a DR650 (Daisy) who is really fun to ride in the twisties but not so comfy on the long rides but in saying that have punched out a mere 900 odd kays in a day on her.
Anyway, I enjoy writing about my journeys and have a blog which when I figure it all out will place a link to in my signature and will add a pic of me and the girls :thumbsup
Looking forward to meeting you out on a road somewhere or at a friendly gathering!!!
Til then, ride safe everyone,
Kimmie

One day we might meet Karl ????
Karl is a figment of Kimmie's imagination whom she talks about occasionally.
Apart from that (and the bike fetish) she's fairly sane. Oh, and the cookie obsession. But yeah. All good.
You'll fit right in, Kimmie. :grin

Thanks Wendy. I know, us female riders are a rare breed and the long distance ones even rarer.
One of these days, when the stars align and the roads connect, I'll have a cuppa/drink with you.
-
Look forward to it Kimmie, never know, by then my daughter may be on her own bike too :grin
-
Oh, but the quality of the riders is so high!
