In Bunnings tonight and spied some heated jackets in the tool shop.

Now for $199 they are probably not really suitable for wearing on a bike especially with a 18Volt lithium battery in your pocket.. however next to them were heated hoodies without batteries just a 12Volt cigarette lighter plug and a USB port in your pocket. Ideal for wearing under you bike jacket, and only $99. Good buy in my opinion.

Skidooo (Karl) here on ours and other LD forums has been wearing one for nearly 12 months with positive feedback......you pay another $30 for the 12volt lead to bike power the Jacket :like
Karl wears this instead of his winter liner on all his cooler LD rides....

Bought a hoodie . . . . $99 . . . Fits OK . . . Bought the lead to plug into a cigarette lighter socket . . . Only $19 . . Wore it home from Bunnings in 4wd and I could feel the warmth fairly Quickly. I have the option of buying an AEG 12 volt battery an charger later if I feel the need to have it battery powered rather then the bike power . . I'm thinking of cutting off the hood part of the jacket . . Looks like that could be done without a great deal of effort or damage to the main part of the hoodie . .
