:bl11hello guys, just read topic last nov on disc's allan has stated the standard police modle use's disc
R/F -45251-mt3-000,from metalgear, on checking they say disc 20-149 and 148 respectively, is this the right disc, certainly look same as old one's my bike 2003 st1100 non abs police modle. ;-*

They are easy to fit only have to ensure you have the proper disc on the correct side.

:bl11 once again thanks to this forum, allan 1100, and all you guys, the disc's and pads arrived today(4 days from Qld to my door step)
fitted them myself,and yes yorkie,not that difficult,half hour tops,job done.
just cant work out these engineers,right side calipers two mounting bolts both same :thumbs
left side two allen keys, different size :well
tested and now all good. :hatwave

That's ok Rob......that's what we're for........to help each other how ever we can.
As for your bolts; your RH calliper doesn't do much other that sit on the fork and push a couple pads onto the disc etc. The left hand one has a larger top one is a pivot point and the mount is designed to give some movement as the lower bolt is attached to the anti-dive unit.

It's a HONDA !!! You where expecting something less perhaps ? :rofl
At the Honda factory they have a design team that designs the bikes. ( from the latest designs, they must be getting paid with wacky weed ! )
THEN they give those diagrams to another much larger team who's only job is to make every detail as difficult as possible to work on at home. :Stirpot

:bl11 Yea, and those redicularrrrrs screw head plugs that protect the pad locating bolt, screw drived head :well you kidding :nahnah getting those out was the hardest part of the job.
