Hi everybody,

I've just purchased my first ST1100 and am madly falling in love.

She's a 2002 model with 68,000kms who started out life as a QLD Police cycle and has had only two owners since then.

I'm located in the NSW Southern Highlands in Robertson.

Not looking to go crazy with modifications, however looking at some Oxford heated touring grips, a USB/12v socket mounted somewhere and perhaps a screen that reduces some of the buffeting, so will have to have a look through the forums for ideas.

Hi Andrew. Welcome.   You have found the right spot for information about the new toy and other people like yourself who have a passion for a great bike.  The amount of information on this forum is only surpassed by the details you get meeting the other riders on an RTE (ride to eat).  Cheers

Welcome to the clan. I use to live in Robertson, bloody cop shot my dog cause it got out of the yard, but that's a different story.
Still catch a pie every time I travel through and by the way if you are buying Oxfords, which I'm not surprised (gets mighty cold up there) buy the "Adventure" model as they are the right length.
