Hey Guys i'm Odin i'm 27 and from Toowoomba i am currently looking at buying Streak's ST1300
i have been riding for about 10 years on and off over the last few years i have had and GPX 250 (got stolen) then got a little 250 cruiser sold that and got my self a Honda CBX 750 (in the shed blown motor :'( :'( :'(hahaha).
The ST 1300 is a lot bigger then i am use to but am looking forward to enjoying the long and smooth rides on it from what Streak has told me about the bike and the guy/girls that ride these i got very excited and can't wait to hopefully have the ST1300 sitting in my shed for me to be able to get on and ride off in to the sun set when i like ;-* so if any one has any suggestions on a new rider on these please let me no thanx and hope to see you all out on the road soon. :wht13 :wht13 :wht13 :wht13 :wht13 :wht13

Thinking back to my first ride on a ST , apart from remembering how smooth it was and the power available when you need it was the fact I could never give it back because it so damn good. It took me days to get the smile off my face on my first trip home with the new toy. You could not buy a better bike. Whether you ride solo or two up. It can handle just about anything

Welcome. There are plenty of St owners in Twba area, I only picked mine up earlier this year, and have been on a few ride to eats... great mob to meet up with. my st13 is a daily rider and soooo comfy.

Welcome smurfy.
A few tips, because it is a heavy bike don't park it nose downhill in a driveway. They can be quite hard to reverse up a show unless you are quite tall. Once mobile, the weight disappears. Well balanced at 5 km/h and less.
Enjoy.

Welcome Aboard mate! This is a fantastic bunch of people! With going to a bigger bike (and an awesome one at that) you will notice stuff like you dont get the wind buffet, and you have more road presence, and you stop for fuel a lot less often!
but the big thing you will notice is on the road, trucks and the like will not really bother you with wind all that much.
all i can say is the team here loves helping and giving an opinion, so just ask away they will answer it the best they can!

Welcome to the group, you have picked a good bike and one that knows what it has to do so trust it.
Main thing to remember is to look down the road at where you want to be, the bike will do the rest.
they will answer it the best they can!
And sometimes, the advice is correct..
o:) o:)
