Just wondering if our OzSToc roadside emergency hot line has been used much.
Would be cool to know if it has come in handy for any one.

The Rider Assistance Network (RAN)
It sure has :wink1
But I will let those who have used it tell their stories if they choose, some may rather forget :p....

I used it,, well tried when my alternator KARRKED it completely... unfortunately everyone was on the same Far Ride so to no avail... but I was rescued the following morning by my nephew, who is willing to assiST others if/when needed.

It had been absolutely overwhelmingly and humbling at the RAN responses to my accident.
ST2UP and Pockey and Sean kept my family up to date on my location and condition when I couldn't get to the phone due to a spine board and neck brace and Ambulance transports.
ST2UP and Pockey cut short their holiday to visit me in Tamworth hospital specifically to collect my gear so I didn't have to worry about it.
They have worked behind the scenes with the help of another fantastic member (Honk), to ensure the farkles from my bike will remain with me and have collected them at one location.
They are still working to arrange to get my gear and farkles transported from Guyra to my place in Brisbane.
RAN value to me is beyond valuation. ++ ++ ++ ++ :KissBlow

I think the value in the RAN is the fact that it is there. No one expects or wants to use it. But when you are stuck in "that" creek it is just nice to know someone may be willing and able to help.

It's like insurance.
Puncture in Tassie, RAN provided a wealth of help and advice and got in in the right direction
