Hello all, my name is Garth Jones. Just purchased my  dark blue ST1300 from a gent in Canberra. Flew over and picked it up 2 weeks ago. The ride back to Adelaide was a good time to get accustomed to the new steed. Really love the ergos which allowed me to do a 700km run on the saturday and feel great after a shower and a beer. Not something I can do on my Blackbird as my arthritis has pretty much ended any sporty riding positions for ever. Look forward to enjoying a more relaxed riding experience with what I would call a quite conservative bike. Its at least allowed me to carry on enjoying riding again. Look forward to meeting some of you guys in the near future and picking your brains on mods and farkles over a beer or coffee.  Cheers :blu13

As well as the rides that Alans1100 has posted, we have a monthly mid-week run to the Pomegranate Cafe at Birdwood.    Put up a post if you are keen to go for a ride somewhere on short notice, and see who takes the bait.   :grin

Welcome Garth. We all grow out of the sports bike position sooner or later. Like most of us, we all wish we had found the ST  long before we did. And blue is best.  :thumb   :blu13
