Heading off on a ride in STh east qld/nthrn nsw area from Brisbane on tuesday october 13th.
Open to ideas regarding length/destination if anyone is interested in going for a weekday ride :grin
-
I would but I back at work :(
-
I plan on posting a ride E.O.I for most tuesdays.
They may be coffee lunch overnight or all 3 combined depending on who is interested and destination decided upon.
I figure with so many people on the forum now that i should get some interest.
Either way,i'm off for a ride anyway :thumbsup

Good for you STimpy.....nothing happening ?? So create your own :-++
Perhaps on a Tuesday we could do an OzSTOC version of the Border Run ?? meet at the NSW/QLD border at Wallangara/Jennings for Tea and Cake ;-*
:popcorn
-
Open to any and all ideas.....may even evolve into overnight camping.
With 3 weekdays off every week the mostly empty wide open roads are a siren's song just calling out to be ridden 8)

This one might appeal to our retiree members or the self employed.

I'd like to do a Tuesday SEQ RTE (I'm in Burleigh Heads).
Tuesday is one of my usual ride days, being semi-retired.
Couldn't make next Tuesday (because this is an imperfect world), but am interested if a Tuesday RTE becomes a theme.
-
Hi Bluey,i am looking to make this a regular Tuesday thing as it's in the middle of my 3 days off.
Have a think about where you would like to go and feel free to put up your ideas on the next posted Tuesday RTE :thumb
-
Sounds good Stimpy, I grew up in Gayndah and could meet you at Moore or somewhere.
let me know.. I won't do camping, I will do motel or hotel or on site caravan and only occasionally due to finance.
Every 2nd Tuesday are Chemo days for me so they will be out, unless the Cancer Care Unit wants to do an excursion but I doubt it.

I was thinking of staying at the grand hotel ........apparently the food is pretty good.
Let me know monday evening if you can make it then we can work out a meeting point from there ;-*
-
Yeah ill be good for it, the golden orange also has good meals and cheap accommodation...
-
Too easy....work out a meeting time and the rest wil take care of itself :rockon
-
I'm flat out for a few weeks with end of semester study (mature aged student), but after Nov 11, my Tuesdays are (mostly) free until Feb.

A border run to Wallangarra one day would be good, The Railway station does great lunches but not sure if they are open weekdays
Not sure about the pubs as I haven't been to a pub in Wallangarra for a few years :grin
