Hi all, 
 
and welcome to "Happy Daize" RTE - SAT 5TH MARCH 2011.
 
I'd like to extend a quick welcome to one of our newest members - Geoff Nicholson who may or may not be back from NZ in time for the ride. Welcome aboard anyways Geoff and we all hope you weren't anywhere near Christchurch in their time of need ol sport. Welcome aboard and we hope to see you soon.
 
This ride will take in such highlights as Woodford, Peachester, Mooloolah, Eudlo, etc etc etc.
 
We kick off at the Northbound BP Service Centre at Caboolture at 9.00am for a 9.30am ride out. (Be fuelled up already if poss.)
 
We head out the back of Cab, and up Old North Road thru Wam, and on to Woodford where we get to laugh at all the sport bikes parked at the bakery.
 
Then it's up the range to picturesque Peachester, and back down through Beerwah, then the back way to Landsborough. A quick blast up Steve Irwin Way and a 'lefty' puts us through to Mooloolah where we stop for refreshments at 'that 50s cafe' you may have seen on a recent vid - (they do a great thick shake there).
 
Then, an hour later - when Skid has finally conquered his gargantuan and tumultuous Brekky - we head off to Eudlo and then Palmwoods. From there we make a great climb up the range to Montville, along the top to Maleny, out the back door to Dag and the unbelievable Mt Mee Road over the range, then descend into Dayboro to the Pub for some much needed (and vital) rehydration. Here comes a nice little surprise....
 
If everything works out well for us, our newest member Graham from Toowoomba will be on two separate missions this day. He is:
1. Picking up his new beloved ST1100 that has been shipped down from Rocky to Brizzie; and
2. Showing up to the Pub with our brand new OzSTOC Patches! I can tell you they look sensational and Gra has done an exceptional job in bringing them to fruition for our Aussie group - so bring your dosh according to what your ordered on the previous discussion (at $6 each) if you want to pick them up there and then. This is of course, if all goes well. There is a further surprise to be revealed at the Dayby Pub - but 'Mum's the word' on that for the moment. Thanks must also go to Bill for his input.
 
It's make yer own way home from there folks.

A couple of very notable points there - like our new Member Graham from Toowoomba, and I am still Dave at this point   

The meeting at Dayboro Pub was also where a bloke by the name of Laurie became 'TIPSY'. Wonder why?
