Dealing with the World
« on: November 17, 2015, 09:48:49 AM »
With all the world loading every gun it can find, and everyone raising their torch and pitchforks to rid the world of the menace, here is my short view point.

Terrorism will never be defeated, it has been around for centuries, it has been used by so many cultures that i cant even list them all, but i do know the answer is not trying to wipe a religion or a race off the face of the planet, there was a man who tried that, and he was responsible for the second world war, and is viewed as one of the most evil people in history, think about that for a moment.

I have always been taught to trust and be loyal to the people around you, and if i engage in the hatred, and buy into the message if we kill them all then we win, then i will not hold to my own morals.

I have friends & family who are Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Atheists, who are black, white, brown, live in Australia, and many who don't, and I value and love them all as being part of my life

I would rather die and know i was a loyal friend, a loving family member, and respected the world, than live, feed and grow the hatred that is know being thrust upon us by social media.

I love my country and the people in it, regardless of who they are.

Keep safe my friends, and don't forget to take a deep breath and think.

Cheers

I don't think anyone here is suggesting we try and wipe a religion from the planet, like Hitler tried to do.

I'm suggesting we wipe ISIS the terrorist organisation off the face of the planet.

Not for one second do I think Muslims have anything to be accountable for.

I agree with you Marcus.

Is there any real difference between what Hitler tried to do and what ISIS is trying to do?

Totally agree there, so many individuals hide behind social media (being text and forums etc) but when meet "face to face" they lack all intensitle fortitude to continue with a civil and constructive conversation. But remain in the background and continue with their recidivist behaviour.

You know what I'm saying.

Its not just social media, i was at an event during the week standing with two respectable local businessman i know well who were discussing the best way to remove and ban anyone who does not belive in "our way"

They got a shock when i simply replied "so how many other countrys and cultures are having this same discussion around the world"

I just get frustrated with people who assume everything to be fact cause some random person said so whether it be written or verbal

Forget Religion ............ What has happened is a minority group of murderous people have tried to capture a set of beliefs so as to raise fear around the world for their own end. They base their actions on events that took place so long ago, they justify their actions to land grabs that have taken place for century after century.

They speak about the sins and the crimes of Nations and cities and then perform the highest "Sin" in the eyes of the world in taking peoples lives.. people who were defenseless, people who didn't have a chance to protect of defend themselves, people who were innocent of any behavior which required punishment without trial, Children, youth and adults, and it was done in such a cowardly way.

Terrorism .. no Cowardism (I know there's no such word as it's Cowardice) But Terrorism is a cowardly way to wage "war" on your enemy, to strike without being seen especially on Man, Women and Child an unarmed, untrained, and unprepared population.

Keep watch, look for things out of the ordinary, report them don't let in go, your information may make the difference. (and I believe it's ISIL not Isis as that's a town in Qld)

Peace .... o:)

Isis is one of the gods of ancient Egypt and therefore around the World there are women called Isis who are copping flack over their name. Some clown even suggested to one woman that she should change her name.

Murderous sociopathic and psychopathic idiots are misusing religion as an excuse to murder, rape and pillage in the pursuit of power and wealth.

Don't live in fear, because if you do, then they have already won.
Cheers,
Gary
