It's quite innovative, and would seal up well for riding in dirty weather and for noise reduction, so long as the flap at the back doesn't whistle in the wind.    With the reduced ventilation around the neck, it might make hot weather riding more uncomfortable.  Has anyone seen a price?

At around $800, I would think more than twice the price of other quality helmets... way out of my price range

I would like to know what they are like for noise.   If you can get them off and on as quick as demonstrated I would not miss the flip front.   I like the idea of being able to remove the entire front section in an emergency.

That would definitely reduce wind noise as most is generated around the chin/neck area.

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?
