Waterproof Coating Spray
« on: October 22, 2016, 06:40:16 AM »
http://ultraeverdryonline.com.au/

I stumbled across a product called "Ultra Ever Dry", which appears to be the ultimate waterproof spray on coating, that appears to be perfect for jackets, gloves, boots or just about anything else.   While the product appears to almost too good to be true, the price is pretty high.

It looks fantastic and it does work  .......... Sort of.

It does not wear very well. As in if it gets dubbed or folded etc it will reduce its effectiveness considerably.

So for things like boots, jackets and pants it does not yet have the longevity to make the investment worthwhile.

I see this being something that will work well in 5 to 10 years but until then ..... Stick with other proven sealers

We sell something very similar through the shop called GoDry

so far i have coated my boots, and my jacket with it, and it has worked through a couple of decent showers, we mainly sell it with new work boots for people wanting a decent waterproof option, i used 1 50ml bottle on my boots, and a 100ml bottle on my jacket, ST2UP tried some on his sons boots with the 50ml he can pass on the results

We use the Selleys one but I guess that's because we can get it at the local hardware store for about $20 a can. http://www.selleys.com.au/home-cleaning/fabric-protectants/watershield/
