A question for members?
« on: September 29, 2016, 03:24:08 PM »
Does anyone in the club do leather craft? .. or do you have anyone in your family that has an interest?

I have a great number of tools that are no longer required by myself, and would like to pass them on.

Hi Kev,
That seems like a great offer.
I have a son who shares some accommodation with me. Ie. lives at the same address'.
Ben is into bestoke craft type woodwork, Furniture and such, and jewelry and artifact making, has his own workshop etc.
I have not spoken to him but I know that he would be intensely interested to acquire any type of hand tools of the type you have, please let me know of what you want for them and any possible shipping costs.
As an aside I also have his older brother living here with me and Nathan is into custom car upholstery and mechanical work. and he would also be interested to acquire the use of your tooling.
Thanks for your interest etc.
Cheers ,

Items are for decorating belts, bags etc, leather carving tools, stamping rivets, leather stripping tool for making belts, all hobby craft items.. around 90 items.
I would like to see someone make use of these tools, rather than just throw them out.

Hi kev.
Dont know if you still have them but my 14 year old son is into forging steel and makes a lot of knives which he often makes sheaths for. He would love them.
He is a pretty clever kid. Built his own forge. Learned how to do it off youtube. If he is not doing that he makes a hell of a mess in his mums garage wood turning.
