Riding posture simulator
« on: May 23, 2017, 05:54:17 PM »
Hi all,

One of my mates showed me the following website and I thought you all might like it :thumbsup

www.cycle-ergo.com

It's an online tool for simulating a person's riding posture on any motorcycle or scooter :thumb
It places a representation of the rider (with your height and Inseam) on the bike of your choice, and allows you to make a number of adjustments to how the rider is sitting on the bike.

For example you could put in your details and then add the changes that handlebar risers would make to your riding position (My risers give 2" up & 1" back) :grin
(The below pic is an example with a V-Strom)

Anyway check it out :thumb

Cheers

Hmmm.  Appears they're not keen on increasing the traffic to their site...    :eek
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Instead of the pictures, I got a notice in the frame saying "Please do not hot-link images".
The reason website owners do that is to prevent the traffic from costing them download volume.  Presumably they're cool with folks copying the images into their forums etc.  If they weren't they'd do what National Geographic and others do- block copies with a message about copyright.

Interesting!  I tested the page on Explorer with the same result as my Chrome.
