Diesel and I are fan's of the 1000km in 24 hours, good fun, does not wreck you to much, and you can still see part of the world without having to rush
Interesting comment there Streak. Lets look at it this way:
1000Km in 24 hours - 1000/24= 41.6Kph average required
SS1600K in 24 Hours - 1610/24= 67Kph average required
SS2000K in 24 hours - 2000/24 = 83.3Kph average required (personally I think this is a tough ride)

Yep, I agree but I still have fun watching all sorts of parts of this great country as I ride around
StinkyPete, in case you have not found the IBA site you may like to look here
http://www.ironbutt.com/ridecerts/ Don't need any ones approval just do the ride within the guidelines and submit your paperwork to the IBA
If it is the FarRides you want then you have already found the info you require, enjoy the FarRides there is always great company at the end or in the middle of these rides
